SAMSUNGThe first full sized item I got is the NYX high definition eye shadow base. I got this because I was running out of my e.l.f. one so I decided to try this one out. This product costs $6.99.

The next thing I got is the NYX single eyeshadow. On the left is the color iced mocha and on the right is aloha!. Each single eyeshadow is $4.99.

I was so excited to get these products because people rave about these on youtube so much. They are the NYX jumbo eye pencils. Going from left to right, the colors are milk, french fries, and lastly cashmere. Each eye pencil costs $4.49.

The last thing I got was the new urban decay naked flushed palette. On the left is the bronzer, the middle is the highlighter, and on the right is the blush. This palette costs $30.

Review: e.l.f. Studio 11 Piece Brush Collection

85015_900px_A_100011Hey guys!!! Today I’m going to do a review on the e.l.f. Studio 11 Piece Brush Collection. These brushes are all synthetic haired brushes and can be used with wet or dry products. This item is $30 and each studio brush is usually $3. So you only save $3 but you also get a really sleek and pretty travel case. I got this because they were having a deal on them. Sadly, the coupon code is already expired.  They had this deal out because of the new year. If you spent $20.13 you would get this set for only $2.13. Which is A huge savings. This set is good for beginners because it has every brush you would want or need.

Here is the link to get the brush set:  http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/brushes/brush-sets/11_piece_brush_collection

Complexion Brush

The first brush in the collection is the e.l.f. studio complexion brush. This is a really nice brush for applying pressed, loose, or translucent powders. You can also use this brush for applying blush or bronzer but i find the brush is to big for that so i just use it for powder. After you dip your brush in the powder make sure you tap off the excess so it doesn’t look too cakey on your face.

Fan Brush

The next brush in the collection is the e.l.f. studio fan brush. I use this brush for blending your blush and contour together to get rid of harsh lines. I also use this brush for sweeping away my eyeshadow fallouts. If your applying blush with this brush you will get a nice natural look.

Concealer Brush

The next brush is the concealer brush. This brush creates even and full coverage and blends concealer smoothly and evenly to eyes, face, and blemishes. You can also use this brush with any cream products, including concealer, foundation, primer, eye cream, or cream shadow.

Smudge BrushThe next brush is the smudge brush. It creates detailed pin-pointed color application and is great for blending in eyeliner and shadow to create a smokey eye look. You can also fill in your eyebrows with this brush. I think this brush is really nice. I use it to smudge my eyeliner so it is not such a harsh line.

Angled Foundation Brush
The next brush is the angled foundation brush. This brush is used to create flawless coverage and the angled shape allows you to apply the product in hard-to-reach places. This brush is really nice but I don’t usually use this brush. If I was to put foundation on I would use the e.l.f. studio powder bush.
Powder BrushThe next Brush is the powder brush. This brush is super soft and I love it!!! It is perfect for liquid foundation. You can also use this brush for putting on blush and if you use the edges of the bristles you can put on bronzer.
Small Angled Brush
This brush is called the small angled brush. The brush is good for making a precise eyeliner line. You could also use this brush to fill in your eyebrows. Also, you can use this for your lip color. I use this brush only for eyeliner. But it works wonderfully for filling in eyebrows.
Small Precision BrushThe next brush is called the small precision brush. This brush is used for applying eyeliner, lip color, and also reaching in the hard-to-reach places. I personally would use this brush only for eyeliner.
Eyeshadow C Brush
The next brush is my favorite brush of all time. It is the eyeshadow “c” brush. This brush packs color on and is really soft on your eyelid. It’s also really good at blending the eyeshadow and creating the most perfect smokey eye look.
Blush BrushThe 2nd to last brush is the blush brush. I use this brush for blush and bronzer. The tailored design allows for easy maneuvering and precise color application. A lot of people say this brush is too small but I feel it fits perfectly on my cheekbone.
Countour Brush
The last brush and also one of my favorite brushes is the contour brush. I use this brush to put eyeshadow on in the crease and use it for my highlight on my brow bone. It is also good to use it as an all over eyeshadow brush. These bristles pick up a lot of color so be careful when putting color in your crease.

Overall I think this brush set is perfect for anyone and perfect for beginners. Thank You guys so much for reading my review and leave a comment down below if you have any question about the brushes.

E.L.F. HAUL!!!

Hey guys!!!! Today I’m going to do another e.l.f. haul. The main thing I wanted  to get was the 11 piece brush set because there was a coupon code saying if you bought $20.13 worth of items you would get the brush set for only $2.13. I am going to do a review on the brush set for my next post. I can’t tell you if I like the product or not because this is a first impressions post. I will also include the link to each product.

SAMSUNGSAMSUNGThe first thing I got was the e.l.f. studio contouring blush & bronzing powder in the color St. Lucia. The product costs $3 and comes in 3 different colors.

The next thing is the e.l.f. studio 11 piece brush collection. This set is $30 but like I said above, I only got this for $2.13. So far the brushes are super soft and seem really nice.

SAMSUNGSAMSUNGNext I got the e.l.f. studio mineral infused face primer in clear. There are also 3 other shades that do different things to your face. Each primer costs $6.

The next product I got is the e.l.f. studio daily brush cleaner. I got this to wash my new brushes with. This cleanser costs $3.

SAMSUNGSAMSUNGNext is the e.l.f. studio maximum coverage concealer. The color I got is in sand but there are 5 other colors to choose from. Sand might be a little to dark for my skin tone but I’ll have to try it on my face. The concealer is $3.

The next product is the e.l.f. studio tone correcting powder in warm. It also comes in cool and shimmer. The powder is $3.

The last product I got is the e.l.f. studio blush in tickled pink. This blush costs $3. They have 11 colors to choose from.

Sephora Haul!!!!

ImageHey guys I got my Sephora package in the mail today!! I got a email with a coupon (code is 2013)  inside saying if i bought $25 worth of items i would get 2 deluxe samples. I ordered my Benefit feelin’ dandy lip and cheek kit and got 2 deluxe samples with 3 more fragrance sample for just ordering online (i lost my 3rd fragrance sample haha). They had a big variety on items you can get as a deluxe sample.

Image My first fragrance sample is L.I.L.Y by Stella McCartney.

This perfume comes with a lot of sizes:

  • 0.33 oz.- $25
  • 1 oz.- $60
  • 1.7 oz.- $80
  • 2.5 oz.- $100

On sephora.com they say it smells like Black Truffles, Black Pepper, Lily of the Valley, Pink Pepper, White Musk, Oak Moss, and Patchouli. To me the scent is very nice and floral. Sadly I think the perfume is way to expensive for me and I probably would stick with the free sample size

http://www.sephora.com/l-i-l y-P375718?skuId=1418532

ImageThey last fragrance sample is called pureDKNY Verbana by DKNY.

This fragrance only has 3 sizes:

  • 1 oz.- $45
  • 1.7 oz.- $65
  • 3.3 oz.- $85

The notes on sephora.com say this product smells like Verbena, Honeysuckle, Peony, Jasmine Petals, White Amber, Sea Moss, and Vetiver. I LOVE this scent. It smells just like sweet honeysuckle flowers and is just really good.

SAMSUNG  This is 1 of 2 of my deluxe samples. It is called Soap and Glory Hand Food Hand Cream. This product has shea butter, macadamia oil, and marshmallow. I think this product smells really nice and makes your hands feel really soft.

This hand cream has 2 sized:

  • 1.7 oz.- $5
  • 4.2 oz.- $12

The sample size I got was 1.7 oz. so, I saved $5.

SAMSUNGMy last deluxe sample is the tarte Smooth Operator  Amazonian Clay Illuminating Serum. One shade fits all skin colors. the only size the have one size and it is 1.7 oz- $32. The sample size i have is only 0.3 oz..

This is a swatch of the product:

It is a really nice gold color with some shimmer to it. To use you use your fingertips to apply a little amount alone or you can mix with your foundation. The only thing I don’t like about this product is that there is no stopper in the lid so i find some product leaking out. I don’t no if there is a stopper in the larger version but there is definitely no stopper in the sample size.

SAMSUNGThe actual product I got was this Benefit feelin’ DANDY lip and cheek kit. The price of this is $28.

The kit includes:

  • 0.13 oz Posetint
  • 0.1 oz Dandelion
  • 0.13 oz High Beam
  • 0.22 oz Ultra Plush Dandelion
  • Mini powder brush

SAMSUNGThe first thing in the kit is the Posetint. The full size bottle is o.42 oz. and costs $29. The color is a really nice poppy pink. You can wear this as a blush or a lip color. To use as a blush, brush three strokes on the apples of your cheeks and blend quickly with fingertips. When you want to use it as a lip color just dot on the lips and blend. For a deeper “pop” of color, keep on repeating.

SAMSUNGThe next product in the kit is the Benefit high beam. The full size bottle is o.45 oz. and is $26. This is my FAVORITE highlighter. It is a really nice pearly shimmer color and highlights my cheeks really nicely. To use as a spot highlighting, dab on cheekbones and brow bones. You can also mix this with your moisturizer or foundation for an allover glow.

SAMSUNGThe 3rd product is the Dandelion Boxed Powder Blush. The full size box is 0.25 oz. and costs $28. This color is really beautiful and is a soft pick color. To use, (you can use the brush that comes with is or any other blush brush you like) just sweep the product over you cheek bone and layer if you would like a more “pop” of color.

SAMSUNGThe last product the kit includes is the Dandelion ultra plush lip gloss. It is a soft pearly pick color to match our Dandelion blush. I think this lip gloss is my favorite right now because it is not sticky at all and smells AMAZING!! The full size tube is 0.5 oz and costs $16. Some people don’t like the applicator on the lip gloss because the like the wand brush. To me I really don’t care about the applicator at all so that really isn’t an issue with me.

So, that was my haul i hope you enjoyed and please comment if you have any questions on some of these product. Thank you!! BYE!!!

E.L.F. HAUL!!!!!

Hey guys today I’m doing and e.l.f. haul. For each haul I’m going to tell you what the product is and how much it costs. I will also give the link to each product. This post won’t be in depth because if it was the post would be way to long. Also, I will tell you if I like it or not.

On the left is two of the e.l.f. studio matte eyeshadow. To the right are the swatches. The color on the top is chestnut and on the bottom is muted mauve. Each eyeshadow costs $3. I lobe how the colors are nicely pigmented but the only thing is, is that it is very powdery and the product makes a mess.

Above is the e.l.f. essential eyelid primer in the color sheer. This product is only $1. I like the smoothness of it when I apply it to my eyelids but I feel like the product won’t last long.

This next product is the e.l.f. essential super glossy lip shine in the color pink kiss. The lip gloss is only $1 each and they have a good variety of shades/colors. I love this product. It isn’t sticky on your lips at all and the color is really pretty. The only bad thing about this lip gloss is that it smells really bad. When I put it on my lips though I don’t notice it anymore so I wouldn’t put that against it.

Next, is the e.l.f essential travel mirror. This mirror is only $1 and one side is normal and the other side is magnified. This item is really nice on the go like to school or to work even on the airplane if you’d like.

This product is called the e.l.f. studio concealer in ivory. This costs $3 and comes in 4 shades. I completely hate this product. I feel that it is really chalky and is hard to blend in.

Next, is the e.l.f. essential dual pencil sharpener. I comes with a duo pencil sharpener with a large and small hole plus a travel sharpener on the go. This pencil sharpener is only $1. I really like this because it sharpens well and has a big hole for jumbo eye pencils.

SAMSUNGSAMSUNGThis product is the e.l.f. customizable palette. The colors include (from left top to right top then left bottom to right bottom/1st swatch to 2nd to 3d to 4th) mocha, taupe, truly pink, and wheat. each eyeshadow is $1 and the palette itself is $1. You can also get lip colors. I love this palette! It has pretty neutral and a nice pink champagne highlight.

The next item is the e.l.f. essential smudge brush. The essential brush line all has their handles a nice pearly white color. The brush is only $1. I like to use this brush to smudge my eyeliner so it is not such a harsh line.

SAMSUNGSAMSUNGThese are the e.l.f. essential jumbo eyeshadow sticks. The colors from left to right (for both pics) is little miss thing and french lace. Each eyeshadow stick is $2 and they have a good variety of colors to choose from. I love these but, the only problem is that they wear off too easily.

SAMSUNGSAMSUNGLast but definitely not least is the e.l.f. studio beauty book in in the bronzed look. On the left side is the day look and on the right side is the night look. This beauty book comes with 6 eyeshadows, 1 eyelid primer, 1 applicator, and 1 eye pencil in coffee. It costs only $5. I really love this palette and don’t think there are any cons about it.

I hope you guys liked my review and I’m happy to answer any of your questions you have on the products I just listed. Thank You!!!
